Update time...
I finally decided against the OEM slimline spoiler and went with the M Performance style (I think that's what it's called). Had it painted in gloss black and fitted onto the car. One of those feelings when you have something, that you like, until you see another F10 on the roads with the slimline, and wonder if you made the right choice :biglol: However I do think that both look great and the Performance spoiler is starting to grow on me.
Haven't got a decent picture of the rear end of the car but I shall post some soon. But for now, onto the fun stuff :fencelook:
After much recommendations, from fellow fanatics, I decided to get the downpipe (76mm) done at Roadmasters. Snapped up some pics whilst I was there..
Before:
Removed catalytic converter:
Busy with TIG welding:

The car was then flashed with a stage 2 file. What a difference! Much more torque and much stronger on the top end. The acceleration has become very addictive and my rear tyres aren't enjoying this as much as I am :roflol: Happy to say that the fuel consumption, when driving decently, has improved quite a bit and that I've had no issues with the tune thus far. No flat spots, errors, weird shifting etc etc etc :smilebounce:
Random, pointless, picture that I took whilst they were logging the car after flashing it:
And then it was time for a car wash in preparation for someone's big day... Love how the paint looks when clean. Especially the glossy wheels. Looks really ugly and matte/dull when dirty
And to end of this post, it was a sad day for me today, when
@KPM_330 took ownership of this car......
for the day.
Congrats to his family, the newly weds, who evidently have great taste in cars.
Some pics that he sent me...
And here is how the car sounds at this point in time. The exhaust is still stock, with the only hardware mod being the 76mm downpipe
