Sitting in the office here at Lanseria and can see there seems to be some weather building to the West... Doesn't look like anything to worry about at this time though... It's all pretty low intensity on Radar... Hoepfully atleast some rain to cool us down :rollsmile:

Sire Strongarms, your "linked" image will only work for others that are logged in to weathersa, otherwise all they get is the "red writing" saying that the data has expired and you need to log in again.

rather copy the image to your desktop and then load it as "stand -alone"

I got my car in the garage and missed the first Hail stone by a ballhair...

My bro's e90 LCI wasn't so lucky. We got it in a minute later, but first tried throwing towels etc over the car to protect it while he ran upstairs to get his keys. I got donnered befok. See below a pic of my back whilst only being outside for a couple of seconds trying to protect his car.

At least it wasn't giant blocks of hail like in the movie The Day After Tomorrow :fencelook: .

all the weather (thunderstorm activity) is well south of the Vaal river, looks very violent in the Eastern free state and onwards into KZN midlands

I just got my car under cover. Was in Pta and saw the weather was getting a bit intimidating and so I just got back home. Weather still intimidating.

Insurance is saying the preferred supplier for hail damage is Auto Magic. Anyone have any experience with them?

Auto Magic in Midrand does good work. The guy managing the place knows what "customer service" is.
