So, the car was sitting at the dealer for 4-5 months and finally got sold. The dealer had to drop the price by R30k and had to include an extended Plan.

I am glad that I got out when I did. If I had to sell the car privately, I would have not got my money back.

It is still a great car (the fastest accelerating car I have owned) that can be temperamental and will suit those with an appetite for such.

Lesson learned.
