current rainy weather over Gauteng is moving off eastwards and into the much needed Vaal Catchment area

we dont need the rain over JHB or PTA, we need the rain over Standerton, Villiers, Franfort etc, to feed the Vaal Dam

some more BIG weather is firing up in the FreeState, Welkom, Kimberly and Bloem, but (AT THIS STAGE) judging by the wind vectors, that weather should curl southwards before getting close to Gauteng

will monitor to see whatever fires up later on

I checked yesterday. No changes to the levels. Was also one of the reasons why I asked where the storm water goes.

Am I reading this correctly, water flows from sterkfontein to vaal via wilge river?

Curious to know the altitudes of these dams.

So the Vaaldam is shared with 3 provinces, where the other 2 provinces Free state and Mpumalanga are already having their own individual dam's we in Gauteng have to share our dam with them, sounds a bit unfair if you ask me.

So any problems with the 4 dams flowing into the Vaaldam and it's level will lower. Why is the government only now making noise about the vaaldam levels when the other provinces had massive drought. It's like these people were hiding the inevitable about the Vaaldam running dry. :RedNo:
