wife had to go out to the vaal today to their satellite station there,next to the dam wall,says dam is looking bad,still need a lot more rain to fill it up

Does anyone know where all the storm water goes?

goes to various dams,all the water there around Jukskie goes to haarties dam,where the rivers run is where the water goes

also another issue we have is storm water drains are not cleaned out ,should be done at least once a year,drain out side my house is blocked solid,all water just runs past,and then gathers down the road,thus flooding the road

if storm water drains blocked then water doesn't run into rivers and doesn't go to the dams

Fortunately our community is jacked up. They stood together and got things done. Road signs. Storm drain cleaning. Putting pressure on the municipality gets things done

I hate these "cry-wolf" type of warnings

There is no storm currently active and "on its way", and thus no prediction of when if how it will hit

however, the weather systems currently are very conducive to emergence of thunderstorms, and according to the weather guys at SAWS, their models seem to predict that when these possible storms start to develope, they could easily become severe

but at this stage ??
