Those are some crazy pics and vids of the storm.
Our drainage cannot accommodate so much water at once

We got hit bad. We have a servitude at the back of us and that was 2-3 precast panels deep. Thankfully our wall held up.

Our Neighbours on the other hand weren't as fortunate- both front and back walls gone! Wendy house floated to the corner of the property.

I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Oh man - it was bad this afternoon, I cannot believe how it came down, Im on top of a a bit of a hill and my garden was under a foot of water, but through Edenvale the water was running like there was no tomorrow the gates had been left open on this one. :skit: and the the Lightening hit the House, but for some strange reason nothing popped, I do have lightening straps around the house now - so they must of worked.

Just next to the highway by the Linksfield turnoff there is a small river..
Well it wasn't that small today, it swallowed a Blue 3 series and took out the armco barrier and palisade fencing into the middle of the road.

1st Avenue, Van Riebeck and Dickie Fritz streets(Edenvale) are all closed. Andries Pretorious is the only road that survived and is carrying traffic to the center of Edenvale

3 hours and 45 mins into my ride home, i parked my car in a cul de sac and walked home. Only managed to get my car into my property :thumbdo:

A warning has been issued for another storm to hit later. Guys with access to satellite images please try to update so we can be prepared and not get caught out. People lost lives yesterday because of cars getting washed away and submerged. Children in rural areas went missing.

i had water ingress into my ceiling, roof tiles lifted.
It was nuts.
Pool is full though.

I saw some business properties along the M1 south had their walls washed away at some point yesterday.
