This thread recentlly reminded me of some 1/18th scale BMW's I would still have wanted to get, so I did. Last week on my way back from Pta to Pietersburg, I visites a small shop in Potgietersrust called Smmoker's Corner, they sell the greatest sellection of model cars in all sizes. Absolutely stunning.
It would be worth your while to travel up from Gauteng to pay a visit to that shop. My wife and sons make me crazy when they are in the shop with me.

Hi Guys
Does anyone belong to the DIECASTXCHANGE forum it’s a great place to find out anything you need to know about diecast models of all shapes and sizes. For me the best place to be is the Custom Models forum http://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/forum/20-dx-custom-models/ there is truly some amazing stuff to see, how guys have customised their models - from resprays to fitting real rims and tyres which cost more than the models themselves.
There is one guy that I came across some years back who is an absolute genius and has done some amazing things, checkout his site http://www.raidou-models.com but be warned you will either love or hate him afterwards for the collection he has put together, he has a huge BM collection but it does not stop here. His photography is superb and virtually every car he has he has resprayed a different colour or has put on his own rims, even the interiors are custom coloured truly mind blowing stuff.

One of his most recent purchases is an E39 M5 believe or not, it’s made by a group of French model nuts who started making their own range of models that other manufacturers have just ignored http://www.otto-models.com/ .

Hey Ram3on I saw that E30 M3 Cabrio, looks :bravo: good post some pics once you get it, I enquired about the E39 M5 to find out if they are going to make anymore as it is out of stock.

Got an email from OttoMobile they not sure if they going to produce the E39 M5 again this year, will just have to check their site from time to time, if you do come across it on their site please let me know.
When are you expecting your E30 M3 Cabrio, can't wait to see it. :inlove:
