I joined for the love of BMW and what a bonus to have this thread!

I have been collecting toy cars, customising and restoring for many years but couldn't find time lately!

Now, I am so inspired again!

I took out some of my BMW models to photograph and share tonight!

The Glacier Green and Gold E39s are customs that I created based on real cars.

The blue E30 is a work in progress.

The old E12 is my favourite - for those who remember Derrick the German TV series, this was Derrick and Harry's first car!

There are some special models here - the first 7 series and the 6 series. Hope you like! :=):

The 'Derrick' model is 1:43 scale Schuco and the green one is the facelift version (new nose and bonnet) 1:43 scale by Solido.

Unfortunately, I am in Pretoria but would love to compare models if we had the chance! :=):

Damn, that's a pity, I mean that you in Pretoria. Must take some pics of mine, and post for all to see. A friend of mine in Germany has almost every model E12 ever made, including a fluffy one. If ever you want to flog any of those, please let me know. Thanks.

@ Raybimmer - Yes, went last year. Was fun, but found nothing of interest except some hand built Ferrari that was like R5k, and therefore way out of my budget. Must look when the next Fair is. Thanks for that reminder.

WOW you guys have all such stunning Models OMW! raise: I thought of starting a collection of all the BMW's I've owned, well in fact all the cars for that matter. Only have a 1:18 Scarlet Red Ferrari F50 and Silver Jaguar XJ220.

Ive started my collection-
well only one of one.
I've also looked out for one to match my car- the colour isn't the same but will work for now.
