Your car is looking amazing Shaun. How do they look during the daylight (in terms of brightness), are they still as visible as before the tint?

Thank you Sir.

They are still perfectly visible, they look dark in the pictures but you can actually still see right through them.

Happy new years to everyone, hope you guys have a fantastic year ahead.

Only did one mod this whole time off at home, I was being hella lazy lol.

Decided to mod the tail lights but not with laminx or spray tint as everyone else does it.

Before Pics...

Removed the taillights from the Car...

Started disassembling them, unlike headlights where you can split them open with heat, these are plastic fused together, you need to cut them open with a dremel.

Further the insides of the taillights were striped.

Few days later it was time to lay down some paint

Lights were then assembled again with the likes of qbond, epoxy and silicone for a great seal. The lenses were sanded with 600, 800 & 1000 and then clearcoated.

Also one of the taillights had a non working LED bar, which I fixed

Wow Shaun, what a transformation. She looks really beautiful. I like what you did with the tail lights, something i wanted to take on back in the day when i drove an mk3 and was struggling to find the oem smoked VR6 taillights. You sir are one brave gent.
