Powerbrake dont do brakes for the e39 M5, and a stoptech big brake kit will set you back anything from R15k to R35k. New front discs and pads set me back around R8k.

least there is another option for the M3 not a bad price ($499.67) for all 4 disks, pads and fluid... turner has nothing for M5 thou...

Finally got done with my training for now....

The car was Avus blue and I had Avus and lemans mixed with alot of extra pearl.... Looks real good..
So Plz dont scratch it, you will never match that color again!

Flywheel is still fine, just needs new kit.. slips when very hot.

I got my new toy to play with '08 CBR 600RR

And the V8 is in the 328i.... just still waiting for my custom rear mounted oil pump and sump to go on. And I have decided to supercharge the 32v8i

So first diagnostics are in and I am happy.

There is nothing of significance, one of the MAF's may be going, but its all good.

5 errors, but nothing of consequance, I cleared the errors, and only a E-Box fan error remains, which is an easy job to do, and a lot of folk have had sucsess just cleaning the contacts in the computer box, so I guess I shall start there.

No air leaks, no compression low, no misfire warnings.... motor is healthy :thumbsup:

By the way, Werries whats up with that wierd throttle body on the 340? Thats not standard M60 ?

I think the maf error was from that one pipe that was loose,,,

That is a standard M60 throttle body and the extra bend and extra butterfly is for ASC, the engine I will use came out of a e38 740i.
What you see there is just a empty block and empty heads with a intake on it so that I can get some sizes under the bonnet... And well... It kinda fits...

So got some prices....

Tires is going to cost me about 10,800 all inc for Conti's 265/40/18 and 245/40/18 all round fitted. R2700 a tire which is not bad for conti's I think

EBD pads 1400, and about 2k per disc, CBF is going to charge me about 5,500 including a fluid flush.

I also found a refinisher for wheels at about R450 a wheel with a good reputation from the trade... so guess im going to do that too..

Thats not to bad, just check the rear tyres must be 275/35/18 or 265/35/18 will do.
