:thumbdo: Not nice! If the back door is struggling to open, the pillar may have moved, measure the opening in the center on each side and compare, the replacement door will also tell you. If it's bent, it should pull/push back easily enough, it's not much. Good luck with the repair, and recovering the costs! :sorry:

He was actually leaving for the weekend when hit the car. Then he came back in, told my mom, said he'll pay for the damage and then just left.

The rear door is struggling to close, it opens fine. A bent pillar makes sense though. The driver door also opens and closes fine except for the outside handle that is stuck. Will be taking a closer look tomorrow.

He also hit the mirror. It was broken with the bike before, but even though the glass was shattered and some of the surrounding plastic broke it still functioned fine. Now another hit and it's still holding together and the electrics still work. At least the glass didn't break this time.

Sorry about the knock, that's bad luck

Thanks. Will see how this all goes with the insurance and so on and will let you know if I need a door. :thumb:

Sorry to hear about this!!

But at least he is willing to sort this out and not trying to get away with it...

Had the door card off this morning and saw that the back of the handle also bent. Tried to push some of the dent out by hand in the hopes that I can maybe relieve some of the tension from the handle, but this isn't a golf and the dent isn't going anywhere. Not even my hammer was any help.

The window mechanism was from the day I got the car not a 100%. I made it slightly better with the help of my hammer by hitting the bent metal around the pin (To which the handle screws to) and it kinda worked fine since. Somehow this hit made it worse so the window is also close to unusable now.

The whole exercise just made me beyond angry all over again.
