Some dude bought a boring car at a reasonable price, but, shock and horror, a used car on South African roads has buckled wheels! Must be a lemon, surely, and you sir, are an idiot; apparently.

Anyway, I've learnt this lesson too many times; being the "car guy" in my family/friend group, I go out of my way to assist people to find decent cars, but the minute there is a problem (shock and horror) with a used car, I am somehow involved. It is nice to help people, but as per the thread title, no good deed goes unpunished.

So, I finished my uni exams. An update on the BMW. The BMW got sorted. Audi paid the 50k to BMW to replace the headlight, replace x3 tyr rims and 4 new RF tyres. Motorplan with BMW is now intact. We did an interim oil service for the car before the proper hand over to us. Car is good, way much better than before. You can feel the difference. Currently no issues, just minor cosmetics which we will repair in time as it is a 2nd hand vehicle. Want to do a Ceramic coating and paint restore with proper car detail next year when there is cash.
