Update time again...:=):
The taillights of the 1er don’t look as bad as the stock pre lci e90 taillights, but they haven’t been my favourite either. BMW did release a BLACKLINE version for the e87, but was nowhere near as appealing as the e82.
And so the hunt began for new taillights. I managed to find a set of aftermarket taillights that have the same look as my 335s tails. There were smoked however and whilst smoke is not my favourite look, I purchased them none the less.
Removing the old ones is piece of cake, just loosen the 3 nuts and put them off. However the dirt behind me had my ocd going nuts at 9pm at night. So that needed attention first.
After
Old vs New
The install was simple but after reconnecting the battery and testing the lights, I noticed I couldn’t get the parks to light up and the reverse lights. Went back to check connections and seen everything is different. I did read sometime back, that even when fitting backlines to an e87 that does not have xenon’s, there will need to some rewiring done.
Muhammad from Auto xessorise was kind enough to get this done for me everything was sorted the next day. Thanks Mo for always going out of your way to help.
Overall I'm happy with the updated look.

I used to ask myself what members on the forum meant when they would say "firification", when I saw the transformation that your 335i went through, I then understood. You are definitely going to firify my car (unless of course I get your 335i haha)

Its been a good week in terms of car parts arrivingraise:
First up was a set of ST V1 coilovers from Rennzport which arrived on monday.
Quality stuff indeed and I trust they will make the difference to ride quality im looking for.
Next up..brake system upgrade
BMW Performance Callipers - Front
OEM 135 Disks - Front
OEM 135 Pads - Front
SS braided Hoses - Front and Rear.
Before the Clean....
After....
Should be getting it all fitted next week, whilst we carry out the Service and fluid changes as well.
