Updates: Headlights and Spare Key

The only time major work can be carried on the 1er is when is school holidays as the car is our daily. So in october 2017, gert got to attend to both of the above.

Needless to say the quality of work you get from OBDWorx is second to none. Gert made me a brand new spare key which the wife is happy about and then we moved on to the headlights.

In March 2017, i purchased a set of LCI xenons and was done in by the seller when he sold it to me with 2 faulty ballasts. Moe from Auto Xessorize assisted me by getting me 2 Phillips Generics ballasts which cost me 1/2 the price of one from bmw.

The next challenge was to get a car which had no xenons previously, to work with xenons, and then one step further, the lci has leds, so to make it work WITh xenons that have LEDs. I was told by a lot of people, it cant be done, but once again, @ratslaaf from OBDWorx and his team behind him, proved the naysayers wrong. It took a few days, but they managed to figure it out and all this without even changing my FRM... Cant thank you enough brother. It was rewired, coded and installed.

For the angels I decided to to obviously change the bulbs and opted for the Phillips LEDs. These were obtained from @moe@autoxessorize . Need to say they unbelievable bright especially during the day.

The ST cookies this far have been brilliant. The ride is much better then the HNRs ( not near as hard), yet at the same time the car is not soft and bouncing around like with stock M sport springs.

Car sits level and planted, especially in the bends So it inspires confidence. The thing I really like, there's no noises and creeks coming from the coilovers, you can see and feel they come from Germany and made by KW. I'm really happy with the purchase and the quality is brilliant.

I think they between 13k and 17k. With the better rand, it should be a more attractive price.

Yeah reason for asking I'm looking coilovers for the 330i and received a quote from Rennzport and pricing is very good.

Just looking for real-world feedback on them.
