I already did, when i stitch welded the whole frame. Welding doesn't look the best but its put on thick for a reason and nothing a grinder with a flappy disc didn't fix😅

I see . Yes that looks solid . I wouldn't worry about how it looks , unless it's a show car with mirrors underneath 😅
I'm contemplating between 3M 80115 and welding.
My concerns are that welding could cause rust formation on the other side of the steel . Plus I'm not so handy with a stick welder . If I have someone come weld , I'd probably need to lower the fuel tank .
