Almost a year with the car now and have to say its the best gift I could get myself as a reward for what I went through last year.

Not much to report. Car has been running smoothly. Is been almost 7 months and 10 000km since the tune and 6 months and 9000km since the last service. Did a lot of mileage over December and then almost nothing.
Service kit has been acquired and is lying in the boot of the car. Need to book the car in with my cousin sometime before 18May as I will use the car for a change on a weekend away trip.

The car haven't seen much use lately. I flew down to Gauteng for the Easter weekend and also needed to move the car due to work needing to be done at home. Went to fetch her on Friday and man was it a lovely sight to see her hidden away at the back of the garage. Drive home yesterday was nerve wrecking but will give her a well needed clean tomorrow once the rain has hopefully stopped. Will update with some new pics once she is clean.

Hold off on that carwash bro & dont waste your time like I did 🙄 .

The storms are predicted to last until mid to end of this week. Saw are few videos in the W.Cape and its looking crazy, be safe!

Thanks bro. Appreciate it.
Rain is scheduled to stop early hours of tomorrow morning. If it doesn't I will hold off on the wash as I need to go into the office tomorrow.

Today marks one year of ownership with miss Romanoff. What started out as a financial decision to turn 2 cars, a bike and a trailer into one vehicle and as a gift to myself is a car I will find very hard to part with. So for the foreseeable future there will be no such plans.
Its been quite an eventful year. Fair to say the mod bug bit hard with this one. She was stock for all of 12 days before the mods started. There is some bigger plans but for now that has to take a back seat as I properly get back on my feet.
Service is booked for next Tuesday so for now as a anniversary post all I have are 2 pics taken after a wash in the parkade at work. I am going away for the weekend and sadly she has to stay home. Will take her for a proper mountain drive next weekend.

Service was done yesterday. 9000km after the previous service I am happy to report the old oil and everything else is in good health.

Now for the bad news. I suspected I might have suffered some damage trying to dodge debris and branches in the road trying to get home with the crazy storm of 2 weeks ago. When the car went on the lift yesterday my cousin discovered this. Will order a new cover and fit it when the car goes back for brakes in 5000km.

Luckily no other damage, I noticed the same on mine soon after purchasing. Glad the dealer sorted it out.

I purchased the black oil plan on BMW's Black Friday deals.

Car went in for a engine and brake fluid service yesterday at 117 500km.
Bought her on 92 000km (service history showed previous service was on 74 840 km) and did a service at 94 000, then on 101 000, again at 109 000 and now on 117 500. Will do a service every 10 000 km or once a year which ever comes first. BMW also did a vehicle check and I am happy to report the car is in good health.
Weirdly the font brake pads still has meat left and is still showing 5000km to go, its been showing that since 108 000km LOL.
Will replace them anyway over the holidays for extra peace of mind.

Didn't take pics cause work has been to crazy to clean the car. Will give her a proper wash and wax over the weekend.

With the random weather we have here it's almost impossible to keep the cars clean for longer than a few days anyway unless it's a garage queen. Wifey asked me yesterday when I'm gonna wash the car... told her it's not even that dirty and her response was "I know, we just need a little rain again" 😑

That's so true. And with the winds we have in Somerset its very hard to keep your car clean. Your wife is funny. :ROFLMAO: Tell her we had enough rain for now.
