Guys please if you could update if you hear of any storms coming for the east rand. Yesterday the garage roof got damaged at one of my properties and now the cars have to park outside. The tenants are concerned now if another storm comes.

Thanks to all you guys for the info in this thread. I started a new job in jhb on Monday (from CPT). I crapped myself yesterday. Got hit by some smaller hail stones before I made it under cover. The sound of the small hailstones hitting your car and windscreen is freken loud. I expected damage, but luckily it looks fine. Thanks for the welcome JHB

The thunder activity that developed out to the west, is now appearing on the 300km range Irene radar
and it will be in Gauteng in about `.5 to 2.0 hours
fortunatelly the thundercells seem to be in the disspiating phase, so apart from some thunder and rain, I doubt there will be hail (hopefully)
unfortunatelly my little laptop is on its way out, such that when I try to upload an image via the fanatics image uploader, the whole laptop just hangs, and I need to restart it, so I won't be able to provide images.
but if I post the image to Facebook first, and then post the FB IMG link here, it might work

Yeah Jenich. If you only knew how difficult tenants can be and the threats they talk you would worry also.
