currently starting to develope at Potchefstroom, and for this time of day, and for the size it already has, this might be worth watching during the course of the afternoon

but

the earlier storms, did mature, and are now essentially dissipating

one over Sasolburg/Vereeniging, and another over Heidelberg, both are moving due east so will essentially remain south of the N14, roughly closest will be along the Suikerbosrand

the one over heidelberg moving towards Standerton does have a fair amount of radar reflectivity, and could be something to be cautious off

the wind we are getting is as a result of the outflow of those two big thunder cells

smaller patches of rain cells are also vizible in the Krugerdsorp area, but are so small, that it would be a 2 minute shower at worst

Having a dry thunder storm here in Brackenhurst, no rain though. Was just now in Brackendowns and could smell a veld fire, possibly due to the multiple lightning strikes around.
