I think a 328, once run in and unlocked to its true power, will take a 330.

If that is true. Then its proof how much better the F30 is compared to the E90 cause you are comparing 2l to 3l?

guys R550 000 (est.) is n bit tuff for a 328i.. you can pick up M5's with M/plan for that.. / even 335i cabs

Finally took the 328i for a test-drive today... My opinion, which I admit is from an extremely limited amount of experiences, is that the F30 is WORLDS apart from the E90.

However like I said, I've not really got any experience to ground that on other than comparing just what I've read and the differences I've felt (excluding performance) between E90 beemers and today's short ride in the F30.

My mind was blown away from the drive and I have solidly fallen in love with the F30. It even had my mate who is clueless about cars admitting to me he's a lot more sold on the BMW brand after that short drive. The lighter steering still feels precise and I'm sure after 2 or 3 days you won't even miss the heavy steering of the E90. The ride is FANTASTICALLY smooth and yet entirely confident.

I was very overwhelmed by that little steal of time behind a 328i today, sporting a wide grin for a good few hours after - a grin that reminded me of the first time I ever got laid... :inlove:

mmm true! the F30 is a better car, just the pricetag, but hey, residual is a lifesaver.. or not..
