Track day highlights

One of my (non-racer) friends told me that watching track day footage is boring, and that he wants just the highlights.
Personally I have no idea what he is talking about..

But I did give it a go.

Took me hours but I think I did it.
Comments appreciated, but it's my first proper video so please go easy.

All footage is from Zwartkops, from the past few track days.

[video=youtube]

Making this made me realise how much footage I am missing, really need to make a plan to record everything from now on.

Damn, that looks like a fun.

Maybe I should stop looking for a clean Honda SP 2 & invest in a track toy.:inlove:

You take nice lines man. Do you know if the 2002 got flagged for his pass in the vid?

Really don't know, but I doubt it.
I find at Zwartkops they do a stern drivers briefing and everyone proceeds to do as they please.

Caught myself speeding in the pit lane today, after they specifically said there was a radar gun monitoring pit lane speed, and nothing happened.

I think you need to be a proper dick before they take action.

have seen a bmw black flagged once, couple of years back.

we were being taught by racing drivers the track and what to do,110 laps,he drives and then 10 laps, him in the passenger seat.

well on one of my laps, with the instructor,a bmw e36 track car came and tried to pass me on the inside on a corner, lucky i saw him and ran a bit wide, but when we got back to the pits,he was throwing a tantrum, and asking how they can let amateurs like us on the track .claims he has to practice for nationals or something

well by the time we went out again,he had been ordered to load up his car and go home

I got flagged years ago at zwartkops for drifting my old 200sx haha We went back the following month and during briefing I got told off and even offered a case of beer as a bribe. Seems things have changed a little

Think drifting is frowned on as it damages the surface.
