Only thing that bugs me is the tow bar

Otherwise awesome sleeper car! :praise:
Its a detachable OEM piece and has saved my dad's rear bumper many times from idiots who have driven into it...:nonono:

Once a woman drove into the back of my dad with her mini cooper, she hit the towbar and put a huge dent in her car. My dad got out, checked his car was fine and told her "you stupid woman!" climbed back into his car a drove off. Later that day a policeman came to the house claiming my dad was in a hit-and-run. The stupid bitch drove into my dad and then went to the cops and claimed it was a hit and run...:nonono:
Woman drivers....:bangdesk:

My whole family including myself all have the towbars fitted for such instances. Plus people don't tail gate you as much when you have a towbar that can punch a hole through the front of their car!!!

Once an old guy in an old merc drove into the back of my brother's e34 535i in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway, the chrome bumper hooked onto the towbar and they couldn't get it off, so my brother put foot and ripped the merc's bumper off and drove away. I was hosing myself the whole time they were telling me the story, wish I was there for that one!:biglol:

:praise::praise::praise: Looks like a masterpiece , little dirty and missing its M5 badge .
My dad doesn't drive much these days so she is collecting alot of dust. Badges were removed for a reason, we live in Gauteng... They are in my dad's workshop, front and rear badges.

Another thing, this is the only M5 I have seen with the 3 M colours in the middle of the seat. Has anyone else seen one like this?

I have one of those detachables as well. It's in the boot most of the time but can be a great safety feature and convenience. I don't have a bakkie and sometimes, I hire a trailer for the day to carry heavy loads - furniture etc.

The detachable towbar can be a great convenience.

It's the Mafia way. The merc driver should be glad that the E34's boot wasn't opened :mmm:

This is what happens when you don't have the tow bar on...

... you end up with scratches on the black strip on the bumper :shakehead:

My car didn't have the tri colour badges on the seat.

Can't say that I have seen them on the e34's.

I have seen it before, but very rare.
It was common on the e28 M5

I have four of those badges bought in error. Looking up the part numbers they come back to the E28 and not the E34
