you really really making me to think again. i dont know, i'm not a fan of the mtech 2 bumper. will try a photoshop exercise and go with what suits be best.

Also, from an insurance perspective an original mtech 2 bumper makes sense. If you do have an accident, your insurance SHOULD replace an original mtech bumper without an issues. However, if you have another aftermarket bumper, they will replace it with a standard one. You need to weigh up the pro's and con's of each situation with your budget and preference.

Also, on the 19" wheels, take a good look at the road conditions you normally drive on. If the surface you drive on is very poor (lots of bumps, imperfections, etc), you will end up replacing lots of suspension bushes, etc. I think 18" is practically the largest you should go on a E46, however, I admit that 19"s just look awesome too. Once again, you gotto weight up the pros and cons of each and look at the road conditions you will most likely drive on.

There lots of guys here who have experience with doing these types of mods, so feel free to ask questions.

You guys make alot of sense, i wont disagree with you points. Its just when you can see a picture of your car with all the mods in your mind, its hard to move away from that.

As for the rims, will stick to 18s. I have no issues with that. I was considering maybe just sticking with 17s as the cost of replacing them are more affordable.

just trying to help you. youll notice that the guys here are really helpful and well informed.

17s would be the best option for you. far less damage to the suspension components plus cheaper on tyre replacement. if you do go with the Mtech II you may look at the individual rims. awesome looking.

Will think about it this weekend. will play around with the mods on photoshop. Anyway, i'm no no major rush as the mods will be done over a period of time. I've seen alot of individuals around and they do look awesome.

I do appreciate the advice from all forumites. I'm still new to this so, dont want to blow hard earned money and have regrets later.

Have a look at the E46fanatics forum. I can't recall details, but there is a photo thread for mods as well as for various different colours of cars. This might give you some useful ideas too.
