I see it came down a bit this week..i bought it when the rand was 14.25 to the dollar..so r17800 and customs vat r4900..23k dam expensive piece of rubber:hammerhead:

Brilliant turbo!
Not so sure about the block filler though, bmw cooling isn't great as standard. Adding colesterol to the cooling channels will make it worse. If the car is purely a one-run drag car then it's fine, if still being driven on the street then that stuff is going to cause overheating.

Keep the updates coming. :)

I was also abit worried but after l researhed i see guys that do a half fill get away but this is with cooler conditions. So i decided to just do a light layer..the turbo was a choice between the bw efr9180 and this. But i feel i made the right choice as this is the fastest spooling 1100hp turbo to date.

Yes this will be the only way as this is a big turbo. I really liked a bottom mount setup as it looks neater but its going to be more plumbing.
