Still worth it for me. I can spend hours cleaning my car, enjoy it. Its like a therapeutic experience for me.
I spend 4 hours on my car the last weekend, and only enjoyed it Saturday, spend Sunday doing assignments, so didn't drive anywhere, and since then its been sitting in the garage collecting dust.

When it came to color choices, when I was looking at buying this, my wife and I could not agree. I wanted red, she wanted white, but when I saw one in black, I was sold.

So on the 4th August my car stalled, switched off and refused to start, lucky for me it was not too far from home. So got it towed, it was quite late so did not attempt to try and figure out what when wrong. my suspicion initially was that the turbo kaked out. The next morning, Nik and Karsh came over and ran a few diagnostics. I cant thank these guys enough for always assisting. :praise:
Anyway long story short we confirmed that it was in fact the turbo that popped.
I got in contact with Alister from Xflow and arranged to get the car towed to him. I asked if it were possible to rebuild a hybrid turbo instead of a stock replacement. A few weeks later, the new turbo was installed and Sherwin loaded a new file :ty:. I fetched the car and could not stop smiling. I really missed the feel of my car and she is boosting so well. That turbo spool-up sounds absolutely amazing. :praise: Unfortunately she was smoking quite allot but only while the car was idling. We suspected that it is probably oil in the exhaust that needs to burn out. So I drove around for a week but there was no change, I took the car back to Alister who had it checked out and found that it was the PCV valve that is faulty and needs to be replaced. The sad part is that this damn valve is part of the bloody tappet cover.

So thats were we are currently.
My plan is to install an Oil Catch can to see if it helps with the smoking. If not then a new tappet cover will be installed, then tackle the stuff that's left above.

All in All, I'm happy that she is back on the road and although not running at her full potential she still keeps me smiling and that counts the most.

Ooh and she's a big girl now
