So managed to get some maintenance and upgrades done this past week.

I was having allot of issues with my boost pipes popping out at the worst possible times, not like there is ever a convineiant time for it to happen, but it was getting really annoying. So I made up my mind and decided to have new pipes made from the turbo to the cooler and from the cooler to the intake. At first impression I noticed that the car seemed to be more responsive which confirmed my suspicion that I was suffering from loss of boost. The car now also pulls much better across the rev line, I must say that I am very happy with the new plumbing.

Pic below of the charge pipe with OEM connector. Please mind the dirty engine bay :tiptoe:

Noticed that the consumption also improved with new boost pipes.

On Saturday I did an oil service, was the first one after the turbo was done. The old oil filter wasnt in great shape :thumbdo:

So just a small update.

I was having allot of kak with my HID kit. One light use to go off while driving. Even though I had the errors coded out the kit still required error cancelers which I suspect was the problem. I contacted Mohammed@Auto X-cessorize and he hooked me up with an epic LED Phillips kit. the installation was pretty straight forward, plug and play, with no ballast required.

Brightness I would say is slightly and I mean slight less than the HID kit, but the plus is the beautiful white light that these bulbs throw. They also instantly on without the irritation of waiting for the bulbs to warm up.
Mo also hooked me up with Philips bulbs for the fogs. Its the kinda shop you walk into and you cant just leave with one item :biglol:

This is what they look like
