Getting there slowly with my check list. This would be much easier to do if I won the lotto :blueCry:

Took the car in to ZF this morning for an oil change, I am glad to report that the box is still healthy from the last service, which was about 100k km ago. The old oil still had a nice goldish colour, pics below.
I also had some time on my hands so went to KAR for a small roller run. :rollsmile:

Brake Fluid Replacement - Done
Gearbox mounts(after inspection) - Done
Engine Mounts - Done
New Boost and Charge pipes - Done
Gearbox fluid replacement - Done
Diff fluid replacement - pending
Carbon Clean - pending
Trailing arm bushes - Inspected and they still look good but will change in the near future.

She also clocked 265k km today. so happy with the service this monster gives me raise:
Please excuse my dirty car, she will be getting a good clean this afternoon :biglol:

What oil do you have in mind for the diff oil change?

From the research I've done it seems "SAFX0" is OEM for most E90's, but quite scarce/discontinued?

Thanks bud, yeah I believe that prevention is better than cure lol.

I plan on using BMW oil. Its not something that gets changed often so I dont mind spending a bit more just to be safe. Its about R530 per liter and our cars use 1.2lts, which means I would need to buy 2lts :smashScreen:
