Congratulations.

Some Audi’s still pull on my heartstrings and I still miss my S4.

Where do Audi fans connect these days. Is the old Forum back up and running Yet?
Thank you.
The ACSA of old is pretty much dead.
There are still a couple of us on a Whatsapp group, but it's pretty quiet most of the time.
I think the closest to it these days is the Audi Owners Club on Facebook and Whatsapp, but I'm not going to rejoin those. Totally different type of crowd.
Congrats…the S4’s are lovely. Echo your sentiments. Still dearly miss my previous S3’s -what machines. And came fully loaded with everything: awesome looks, exhaust tone, quattro for consistent launches, handling, excellent Bang & Olufsen sound, lovely diamond stitched sport seats, engaging digital dashboard.
I drove faster regularly in those S3’s (particularly my black sport back) than even my 140i and e90 stage 2 lci 330d which were more powerful. The S3 would have kept up thought in all conditions, and in the wet, obliterated them.
Thanks. Yeah, I didn't realise how much I missed the Audi until I got back in one. Not knocking the BMW at all, just to me, Audi feels more like home.

Audi build quality is so comforting...
Wish you many happy miles.
Is it a B8 or 9?
2013/11 B8.5 in Misano red with 99k on the clock.
Totally stock. Only 27 launch control activations (Which I can believe as the gearbox still feels tight and unmolested). Was also still on the original battery although it was feeling a bit tired, so I replaced it on the weekend.
Comes with some nice "old toppie" factory options. (Audi Drive Select, Sunroof, Auto rear sunblind and manual rear door sunblinds, Front seat heating, Stainless steel mesh inlays, Parking aid plus with camera, BnO sound system and MMI Plus)

I think the club was at its best during our tenure. It went down hill around when I sold my S4. Quite sad actually.

I miss the old crew. We had some good runs and dyno days. Was really fun.

The new addition is beautiful. Are you going to apply some of your old magic to it? :)

Congrats on the new acquisition.
You don't really see them much, seems its always a left field choice compared to a 335i.

What i enjoy is the interior quality and feel of the Audi's compared to their 3 series rivals (specifically the B6,B7 and B8).
And if you enjoy your Audio like i do, the stock audio system is always so much better. My B6 Concert system is still the only car i owned that i never updated any component of the the Audio system.

Any plans for any upgrades? Spacers or mapping and pulley upgrade?

I enjoyed the Acsa back in the day, it was a cool community at its prime.
Did you perhaps take part at at the dyno day at WRC? It was a great turn out and vibe.

To be honest, and this may be the "wisdom" of age (and seeing many forum and facebook posts of expensive failures) talking, but I don't really plan to do much to her, especially performance-wise.
Initial plans are just to sort out the few niggles she has, which are cosmetic.

I haven't been to a dyno day in nearly 5 years, so no, not me.

Ok cool, looking forward to hearing more feedback. Especially fuel consumption etc and more pics!

Are we going to see the Terminator headlights that you had on your 3.0TDI B8?.....

That looked awesome

Terminator lights I may well do. Just need to see if the B8.5 lights are as easy to work on as the B8 lights were.
