I would in all honesty suggest looking for a OG m2 that side it's one of the best track toys. Or if they're E46 M3's aren't too expensive.
Or something B58 if you want power.
But yes the sump baffle with an additional 1lt of oil has proven to work for me thus far.
I have looked at OG M2s etc but I wanted to do something no one has done before. That is why. Everyone has an M or B58 these days. And for good reason, lovely cars and motor. But have an itch to do something different.
Also, I would be aiming for 300kW and no more. A simple Pure500 without Ethanol would hit that, and with E30 would be about 330kW. Would rather become a better driver and follow lines, etc., than a guy trying to track something with 500kW.
N55 powered cars also cost a 3rd of B58 cars that side so thats another reason. Luxury coupes like the 6er even cheaper. A 640i coupe is 120k rand that side with mileages around 100k km.
I would need about 120k rand for all the performance, suspension and brake mods. Parts that side are also cheaper as little to no tax. I will be willing to drop some 200k rand into the car knowing full well I never get it back.
American cars like the GT350 and ZL1 are priced well so might rather get that. The 6er is a fantasy which I may play out or grow out of and try something new. The pic below got me on the idea for the 6er. And noone mention M6. I dont want to deal with German V8s.
Anyway, enough of hijacking your thread
