Do you use your m5 as a daily runner?have u had any issues with that engine?im planning to get the same engine

Hi Julz
I used to use it daily and no I never had any problems other than general maintenance. I've travelled quite extensively since purchasing this car and I think that this engine is very reliable, providing that it is serviced and maintained regularly.

+1, these engines are strong and reliable, my dad has +330k on his without a hint of smoke.

Mine has about 220k as well and as you say, not a hint of smoke either.

Hey,ja thats good to know.im planning to use it as a daily runner for a while.im gonna put it in my e36.i think it would be more reliable then a e36 m3 engine,what u guys think?

That sounds like a good idea however I think that Gizmo can elaborate further regarding which is better. I'm not very mechanically inclined.
