cost to manufacture in SA at the refinery is in the region of 2.00 delivered to the pumps ........then its dealer margins around R4 and taxes an levies etc that make up 50% ...............so there you have it

Then our bright ppl here decided that all fuel should be marketed the same......to give the foreign companies a level playing field...........otherwise we could have been supporting SASOL at dirt cheap prices

Venezuela has huge oil reserves, and the price is so cheap becuase the government subsidizes the price.. It's not sustainable though ..
