so weird so I just get a call from my son now to ask if he can take his friends around the block with the Audi ...they want to hear the turbo and shit and im like no ..immediately ... but then im like damn when I was his age I would of just taken the car etc. after a bit of a talk and reminder I let him take it up the road in the area but just for the sounds no speed.
This is what I'm talking about, what your kid did is as healthy as it gets and it's something to be proud of.

My son is 13 now and we're at a point where he starts the car in the mornings for school and pulls it out the garage into the driveway, I park the entire 2 bays at an angle so it's not just a simple back out either. Usually on Saturdays but every weekend I also let him drive it around the neighbourhood while riding shotgun. It makes him aware of where he lives, gets him started on driving but most importantly the more you let them do these kind of things in a healthy setting the more "normal" it gets by the time they set off without you. Our neighbour asked him one morning to "rev it" and he politely responded by saying the oil is not up to temp yet, giving the ballie a small tutorial on the MHD dials.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I kinda forgot about that one!

As per the title, I'm looking for a clean F30 320d (LCI) if anyone has or knows of anyone who has 1 - Budget is R350k but can come up (especially if it's a G20)

It's for my younger brother, and this is the budget pops gave him. I recommended he look at a newish Japanese, South Korean or Chinese car, but he's dead set on the beemer. This is gonna be his daily for a long time to come, so I wanna get him something that's not gonna trouble (as these rarely do if mantained)

Please reach out with advice as well (he's only 19 and daily drives a Corolla, so this is a decent step up, but will require more expensive Maintenance)
330d**, u made a mistake there buddy

Even though the title says 320d LCI, I'm gonna rock the boat a bit and play devil's advocate for R350k or less:

EDIT: Since he's only 19, a 320d would be a lot more safer to buy. Being young age and having a fast car, we tend to land ourselves in trouble (I know from experience).
Just reading this post about me after I got a 330d, the feeling is unreal, I can't be more thankful. Honestly any day i would take a 330d over the 335i but the n55 sounds absolute amazing
