Howzit goin ppl...Been meaning to post these pics for a while .
Ive grown up with these old School BMWs. Ppl on this forum who know me, know about the 635csi that was in our family since 1982.
And ppl much older will know of the brand new 728i and then the 733i of the late 70s .
Was my dads car and i was heartsore when i sold it about 3 yrs ago.
Silver, blk leather, auto and a genuine 104000km.interior was spotless, engine perfect.Body needed minor attention and the originals Michelins were about R10k.My mom drove it a few years back but the Shark became a bit heavy for her.Sold it to a close family friend who gave it the attention she needed.Surprising we got no digital pics of her
But, back to the original post about classics. My cousin, (the lucky bastich) had in the mid eighties, a 1983 535i. The original tailhappy ass dropper, with Dog leg box,BBS bodykit, and white BBS rims.
2yrs ago ,he was lucky to come across this...Wen i saw it i thought i went back in time...The car was literally stored in a barn shed amongst some furniture and other crap for over 20yrs.An old mans estate took a long time to wind up.He plans on restoring it for his son , but i i told him i want it if he ever sells it.Its a project i would love to do.
Bodywise,it needs the works, but the interior is something to behold.
The condition of it backs up the mileage....I forgot to take a pic of the gearstick, but it also has a Dogleg box...
This is a good example oof how ppl remember this classic.njoy peeps
