just a question...

"ambient temp correction for petrol NA" is there one for diesel turbos or is it the same?

Well usually its either "ambient temp correction for Petrol N/A" and then "ambient temp correction Petrol F/I".

But every Dyno ive seen has theirs differently and also their ambient temp set differently so sure they will explain it in more detail

I take it must be an auto - very strong .:praise:

Good work

What would it be if it was tuned higher up the rev range say peak occurring around 3000 to 3500 rpm range?

I still need to come see you about my 320D. Thanks Tristen helped me with water meth.

Glad you sorted...

Moving the power band changes the drive on the road... Our cars on the DYNO vs on the road are 2 totally different comparisons.

I'm getting ready to do a downpipe, decat and software on my 2011 BMW 330d LCi.

What I'm worried about with these aggressive setups:
#1 -Reliability, pushing so much above stock power has to weaken the components? (Gearbox, drivetrain etc etc)

#2 - How drive-able are these cars for daily driving?

Quentin if you in JHB area then PM me your details, we can meet up and you come with me for a drive in mine and then you can decide what you think.

i had the same concerns but there are cars running much more aggressive set ups then mine and done over 50 000km without any signs of issues.

#pre Answer - Aggressive setup? Define why would you assume it is an aggressive setup? Dean Morritt came from another tuner - RKmotion loaded and the car was more derivable than before! The old MAP from ex tuner was aggressive on the pedal. I know it was aggressive because of the way it hit hard when you took off or launched. Now with the RK file and torque limiting first 3 gears...the driver has a smooth vehicle... with a very linear drive. I would suggest going in a few vehicles tuned by different tuners and making the decision. It is your money after all.

#1: The car is still not pushed to its limits - there is more to give! :=): I have pushed my 330d and drive it really hard - no issues in the pass 2yrs

#2: Drive-able - i recommend you go for a drive in some of our cars, its difficult to explain the way the power is delivered! Feeling is Believing here :=):

Give me a call and i can hook you up with some of the guys.

What about the 600-650nm limit on the gearbox though?

I am interested in these cars and always like seeing developments on them.

If there was a limit then its a very conservative one :crazylaugh:
When i went to ZF they just smiled when i showed them the print out of mine and the Techy asked why i was worried as its just warming up
