Awesome car bud, f/l with MSport pack...is sweet. Rims dont do the car justice, imo the E46 Individual 18" wheels would complete your car.....

Thanks guys

Yup those e46 Individual rims look hawt! But if I do have some spare change, some 19" BBS CH's or LM's would look just right :)

The Alcantara seats, that sound of that sweet straight six, the colour, the look, the drive, the gearbox, everything is just perfect for me.

Totally in Love with it :)

Personally I would ditch the wheels for the first set of 17" or bigger OEM wheels that you can get your hands on.

Apart from the wheels, that is very good looking ride and pretty frikken rare, you don't see a lot of M-tech II ci's

A facelift Ci with Sport-pack! The biznizz! The car looks great! I would say go for 18's MAX! Otherwise you start compromising the ride and handling on these cars IMHO. I had 17's on my Ci and the handling was already getting a bit twitchy...or was that the shitty yokobummer rubber....Enjoy dude. BTW More pics!!

How does bigger wheels compromise handling?

Thanks man, I sure looked hard and long for this baby :)
I got F: 235/35/19 R:255/35/19 and its not tooo bad.

Did the ZA Ci M Sport get the stiffer springs, dampers, and altered suspension geometry?

Here's a few more pics . . .

@Legacy: My experience with the bigger wheels (wider tyres, lower profile) was that the handling felt somewhat nervous, like I constantly needed to make small adjustments to the wheel to keep going in a straight line, especially over rougher surfaces and I experienced more steering kickback. I think there is a sweet spot to what tyre and rim sizes suit different cars and suspension set-ups, and as I mentioned, with the Ci, which is already a firm set-up was such that going beyond 18", for me at least, would outweigh the traction advantages to be gained by increased rubber to road. Also no point in having more rubber if it's sh1t rubber either (hence the Yoko smack-talk) Anyway, would seem the choice in this case would be based more on aesthetics I would presume...

Great car! I believe the ZA Ci's did have the stiffer sport set-up. Look after that rare beauty!

Thanks for the information. I have heard a couple of explinations from some engineering friends that bigger and wider wheels can actually decrease your cars' handling, but I have never had experience with this so I was wondering if anyone had experience with this.
