And when you done, Plasti Dip it as it also fills and leaves a nice sheen.

So do you think I can just use plastidip instead of filling with spot putty and sanding?

Just Sand it a couple more times using finer and finer sand paper, eventually it will look so smooth you will see your reflection in it! then I would just spray it down with a matt spray paint or as others have said, Plasti dip. I am still eager to try that stuff.

Well the diffuser cracked again so I am bust redoing it. This time I am putting a layer of putty behind the crack where I had the glue you can see in the pics. Hopefully I can get it done in time for tomorrow.

Almost finished, just needs painting so wish me luck.

Spent the last few hours with spot putty and wet sanding... Through 3 fingertips that is... Seems mostly smooth

I know it is solid because during wet sanding my hand slipped and I knocked it off the table. Not even a tiny shift at the cracks.

Hey Guys, I have been extremely dormant on the forum for the last year and a half, time to get involved again.

Definitely time to update this list. After starting full time employment it is a lot harder to get the time and energy to work on the car myself so other that her regular oil services and needed maintenance not much has happened.

Thinking of doing brake and power steering fluids this weekend as these have not yet been done. Anyone want to come by and help? :=):

Updated Lists

Whats been done so far:
Code:
+Poly LCABs
+Replaced PCV
+Stewart Water Pump
+Samco Sport Radiator Hoses

+Rebuilt Door Cards (Post #22)
+Fixed Cracked diffuser (Post #29)
+New Meyle HD Sway bar end links
+Powerflow Decat with resonators (Sounds great, not too much louder)

So friday night I did a power steering flush, the old fluid was sooooooo brown. Unfortunately I had to use the lazy mans (which actually takes longer) method as the power steering pump drain bolt was too damn tight for me to get off.

Saturday afternoon I changed my break fluid and gave the system a nice bleed. It's about time I did this, it should be done every 1-2 years. I have had the car for 2 years and I am not sure if the previous owner ever changed it.

On the cards for today; I am going to take a look at a set of ramps because jacking up my car is a real b####.
