Who's bragging? A 27" screen is rather small these days. I take it you don't play online fps games? The bigger and faster millisecond response time the better.
That's why those on the pro scene play on 24" monitors generally?

I don't know any pro gamers using a single 24" on their home setups, those who have smaller screens have 3 of them and split the image across all 3.

24" is used for LAN parties as space is limited at those sessions. Their home rigs are way bigger from my experience. To be fair, the gamers I know play as much MMOG as they do FPS games.

That is brilliant! You were on that 86 like a bad rash! I am shocked to see that you reel him in on the corners but he pulls away on the straights. I thought it would be the other way around, then again, I have no idea how good the driver of the 86 is. Nonetheless, awesome track footage. Can't wait to track my 330i!

The first car is a brz and I know the driver. He is very good, he got me into the track thing. The 86/brz has got more power than my car, I only have 325i.

You must bring your car it is great fun.

I had an absolute blast at Zwartkops today. The semi-slicks make a huge difference, compared to previous tires I used on Zwartkops.

I decided to rather enter the 2.0l and under class as it suits my car better.

Had some fun runs with my mate in his brz, and some fiesta st's. Managed to chase down both the fiesta st's that was there, felt chuffed about that. On the second last session the groups where joined (all street cars), I ended up behind a Focus Rs(second gen, a bright green one).
The driver was a youngsters (22/23), he could drive but I managed to keep up with him, I could not believe it. But for 4/5 laps I pushed as hard as I could. Caught him under braking every time, then he pulled away on the straights. Our laps times where in the 1:23 range. On my last lap I set a lap time of 1:22:8, was using the racelogic timer, the brz guy lent it to me for the last two sessions.

Last session I had nice clean track most guys where gone by then and I managed a time of 1:22:7. I am pretty happy with that time considering what the fastestlap.com website has for Zwartkops - link

After both the last two sessions the brakes where smoking when I stopped in the pits . I need new pads again these lasted about 5000km of which 400km was on track:roflol:

Some pics of the consumption etc. And one I took early in the morning.

Pretty impressive DB,, that BRZ should have like 10kW more, much less weight and is like 11 years newer and you still gave it stick in your daily sedan.

I've been around Red Star unofficially, and it was alot of fun..
One day I will join you for a track day :)

Oh and Congrats to the Big 200!

Shot where is your 325i at now?

You must join it is great fun really, just make sure your brakes are sorted.

I can't really pick the best/favourite circuit yet, each has it own character. Still want to try Kyalami...... Only if they don't charge an arm and leg for normal track day.
