Very nice purchase man! Looks to be in a good nick other than the small things you mentioned.

I would recomend that you leave the steering wheel as is or speak to m3m5power <--- I think thats the one...He can recomend a good place to get it sorted out. I got my steering wheel recovered at MC Auto trimmers, And they stuffed my steering wheel up so badly I wanted to burn the shop down!

Xenons are easy, hook up a set of retrofit projectors and some xenons with ballasts and your sorted :thumbs: in my opinion that is one of the nicest looking upgrades for these cars.

Awesome car! I also compromised on spec because I found one in outstanding condition with very low mileage. I love that colour you have!

As mentioned by osiris, xenons can quite easily and neatly be retrofitted.

Judging by the steering wheel condition the mileage is probably around 300k km.

Sho, okay... I've seen an E46 M3 with half that mileage and a steering wheel that looked worse - the car always stood in the sun in his office parking lot and the wheel saw a lot of abbrasion on track days and general hooning.

But okay, guess noted.

Was a bit hesitant about the mileage at first, but after asking around quite a bit, it turns out these motors are pretty much bulletproof... So I bit the bullet.

Nonetheless, Manual seats are way faster to adjust, and less electrics to worry about..

Yea I remember seeing that car on autotrader so I took a guess. The engines ARE bulletproof IF you keep OIL in them, and keep them COOL.

A week point of the E46 is the cooling system, so you might want to consider replacing the following.

Thermostat and water pump
Upper and lower radiator hoses
Expansion tank and cap

Or at the very least do a coolant flush every two years or so.

Also keep a close eye on your belts and pulleys.
