Each to his own, but if it were my ride I would maybe look at another OEM/OEM+ style wheel in gunmetal/anthracite or even silver.

Have to agree with the above comments regarding the wheels:sorry: I think the 19's look a little too big on a e46 sedan. Maybe look at the oem 18' individual wheel:thumbs:

This is a pleasant surprise, nice to see you again Bawb :) & congrats on your latest purchase :thumb: e46 330i's are as you said bulletproof, owners don't simply part with them unless forced to....

As for rims, I say have the entire rim polished or painted in shadow chrome :pimp:

Thanks for the words gents. Update time...

After looking at the Breyton reps objectively, I realized what everyone was on about - or I regained my sanity... don't quite know which - but I took them back the very next day.

Thanks to minimike, I got my paws on a set of rims I really wanted, albeit at a bit more than I was originally looking to spend - but oh well. :p

So we've gone from this:

Those look good:thumbs: I would ditch those M centre caps though. They look a bit tacky IMO:fencelook: See if you can get some bmw caps. But the wheels defintely look way better:thumbs:

Nah, they just lo tacky because they're upside down in the pics.

Agreed - BMW caps would look way better - these came with the rims, so I just fitted them as-is for the time being. Need to see if I can use the caps off the M-sport rims until I get a new set.

Bawb..l the caps from your 17inch individual rims will straight fit the these csl rims... Mine did when I put my csl rims on 3weeks ago...and it looks a bomb too..

I saw gas monkey garage fit a set of those wheels to a 1959 rambler last night on fast and loud.

The offset doesn't look right on those so you may experience rubbing if you have passengers in the back. What are the wheel and tyre specs?

Yeah, I noticed the same thing about the offset...

Rears are 9.5J with supposedly ET45 (looks more like 35 to me), shod in 245 section rubber.

Fronts are 8.5J, ET40 with 225.

No rubbing in the front, but I've caught the right rear on a really bad highway dip.

The wheels need to be refurbed sometime as well - the stupid couriers scratched them after they'd juuuust been refurbed. I'll drive it a bit longer and see exactly how badly they rub - will then roll the arches and check again...

If they still rub, I'll just have a few mm milled off the mounting face of the wheel when they go for refurbishing - problem solved.

Congratz on the car Bawb! Amazing choice.

Regarding e/seats on the M Sport, they did in fact have it as an option as mine has electric seats and almost every other option ie. xenons, electric rear roller blinds, pdc, bluetooth, sunroof but Sadly its an automatic. So I compromised on the gearbox for the spec and also the fact that its immaculate and had only 70000kms with bal of mplan when I bought it. Wish it was manual.

Will love to throw in a 6 speed box later on.

Wish you many happy kms! The CSL's look stunning.

Finally got round to reading up on your new ride. Looking good.

Now we need some more updates on what else you are going to be fiddling with, perhaps something from Vortec???

Don't joke Gav... I've been trawling the US forums for an S/C kit as of late.

First up on the to-do-list though, is a full once over by Gizmo, fitting a VANOS kit and then getting the exhaust done... I know, I've been slack. :(
