2020 BMW 7-series

I’ve just joined the forum after finally getting my hands on 2020 BMW 7-series I’ve always dreamed of owning a BMW, and now that I do, I’m excited and terrified at the same time – mostly because I’ve heard how expensive repairs can be!

I’m hoping to learn more about preventative maintenance and how to avoid some of the common costly mistakes. Also, if you have any advice on keeping things affordable while still enjoying the full BMW experience, I’m all ears!

Can’t wait to get involved in the forum and connect with other BMW owners. Let’s hope my car stays in good shape!

Welcome bud... I only heard people saying my first bmw was a 3 series or 1 series, but for 7 series being a first BMW, that's quite a huge start and congrats on the new wheels. Safe miles ahead.

I was in the same boat thinking Germans cars would be a pain but ever since I got my 6 series last year I have been happy. I have noted how much some of my work mates spend on repairs and I am on par. I think it is just a general fear the average person has. Enjoy your car, even if you have the 750i with the V8 you should be good as they have greatly improved the reliability there.

Congrats! The G11 seems like a great car, have never driven one though but they are generally spec'd very nicely and reviews seem to be positive.
Which one did you get and when are you posting some pics?

Question is what 7 it is, wish they made a really high power diesel version.
