Congrats again, super excited and happy for you! So glad she has stayed on the forum, and wishing you as many safe and fun drives as she brought me!
At least now we can see the actual performance on tap that I never drove at!![]()

heart is smiling.Update - 145 xxx km
1 month, 4 provinces and 4000km down
I have been having an absolute blast with this car 😁
In the one month of owning this car I've done the following trips:
GP - FS
FS - EC
EC - KZN
KZN - EC
EC - FS
This car is an absolute pleasure to drive and really just eats up the miles on the open road. It's pretty fun in town as well. I'm going to be changing rear tyres much sooner than I expected
Best combined consumption has been 6.2l/100km and worst has been 8.4l/100km so far
No plans for the car currently other than a service at 150 000 km and thereafter 10k km service intervals
Looks like a Diesel Safety car with the lights - MOOI!Update - 166 xxx km
No real updates here
25000km done since purchase in April to November. 30d is still pulling strong and eating up the miles
Did a major service at 160 xxx km and will follow up with an oil and brake fluid service at 170k km again
The front bumper got a little scuffed when loading it on the truck when it had the water flange issue however it will be covered up when I get a replacement front lip again

Just replaced mine aswell.Update - 154 924 km - Coolant Flange Leak
A common problem on the 30d's is the hard plastic coolant flange that starts to leak over time. At first glance it looks like an easy DIY to replace but one has to remove the intake manifold to access the one screw. With me being on site in rural Eastern Cape, with no access to parts and tools, I opted to send the car back to Bloem which was 400km away
Got the part from BMW, part number - 7810707, for R375 and sent the car to Bavarian Tech to carry out the labour

Work was carried out within a few hours of dropping off and I picked it up after a few days when I got back to Bloem. Car is performing great again and I am enjoying every moment of 330d ownership 😁
I like the black gloss detail on the bumper...looks dope!Update - 166 xxx km
