Thank you to everyone for the kind words and encouraging comments. Every one of these cars have sentimental value to me. Growing up as a kid we could never afford these kind of cars. I always admired and dreamt of owning at least 1 of these machines. I have been greatly blessed over the past years and have managed to build a collection. People always ask whats my favorite, and my answer.....

the daytona Violet M3 was sold today. I wish the new owner many happy KM’s.

so just about a year later on this thread...
just a couple of updates...

besides having maintenance done on these cars, i decided to jump brands, last year April. The X5 M50d, was sold and I opted for a Porsche Cayenne GTS. Having looked for a while, I found a nicely spec'd one , and went ahead with the deal.

Its a totally different drive to the X5, and although its the wifes daily, I get to drive it on weekends.

After driving the GTS to Dbn during lockdown, the Porsche "bug" started to bite, long story short, I ended up finding a decent 997, manual, with the aero kit & some performance bits.
Got to track it at Kyalami twice, and absolutely loved every minute of it.

Fast forward a few months, the F80/2 was missing from the "M" stable. I searched daily for a long time, until I found a black F80 comp. I know black is a mission to keep clean, and I vowed never to get another black car, but this 1 whispered my name at all hours of the night. I ended up getting the F80 earlier this year.
