So I am the lucky bugger that bought Arbee's Tractor...
Picked her up Friday evening 20|03 - looking brand spanking new - of course Arbee had the decency to leave work early and go wax her up for the last time... What a Legend!
Picking this car up wasn't easy for me knowing the kind of love this oke put into this car - I just knew how he felt. And he didn't make it any easier as he took the last drive with his family on the way to pick up a loan car. All I am going to say is he is a bloody tough cookie, wouldn't have been easy for me to see my car drive off like that even though I had money in the bank....
Losing my car and Arbee putting his car up for sale was just a beautiful coincidence. Thanks for taking care of this car, she drives beautifully, Low as F%%$ - my e46 was low but I need park sensors fitted on these damn splitters I tell you. Especially after driving a loan Sandero for a month...
Of course Saturday morning the vrou was running in Haarties and this is where I was to get my 1st proper drive with this baby... Not the best road but it was a good drive...
I am not a newbie to high mileage vehicles hence this was not even an issue when I bought this car. The wife's A4 Wagon is also a tractor holding it down at about 270k kms, the E46 was around 261k kms as well.
I really have to commend Arbee on the condition of this car - immaculate - interior fresh AF. Paint work on the car was really taken care of as you all have seen. I have been WhatsApping him whole week long asking about everything and anything - he is probably tired of me. But I want to continue to keep this car just as clean. So needless to say I wont be making any changes to this car in a looooong while, just maintenance and fixing the boot spoiler and replacing the splitters every now and again .
See you okes at the meets - I know I havent been around much but active parenting will do that to you....
