I thought we should have a place to show off our model cars of BMWs and other BMW memoribelia. I'll start off with my small collection.

Oh and Uber, dust those things off before you post them!!

great idea Gizmo...i will post at some point...like your racing collection...i would guess we are looking at just over R16 000 in retail value there? Of course the sentimental/collection value is much higher...what do you think?

I have some pieces with friends of mine, who have been looking after them well...will snap a picture along the way

The only non BMW is the Mclaren F1 but it has the BMW engine so it can stay

And I found a box in the garage that has all the other BMW Memrobelia in it, from cuff links, zippo lighter, valve caps and more.. I am sure it also contains some of the badges he has taken off various cars over the years..

OMG what do we have here...it is not a collection Andrew it is a museum....there were so many numbers that got my heart racing...wow...will do you do some close ups one day? i like the book (the worlds worst cars)...i am sure an ST will be in there... just kidding of course...i am amazed...:thumbsup:

Will one day next week once i have finished exams. Those pics i just snapped with my phone quickly when i was there. He is almost 60 so his collection is from like the last 30 years or so. Dont think he has gotten any more for the past 7 though. A few of them were presents from me when i was smaller.

Sorry, I only visited this thread now Gizmo. The E36 we got when my dad took delivery of his e36 318 Motorsport back in 1995. Unfortunately that one is not leaving my cabinet.

I've also looked out for one to match my car- the colour isn't the same but will work for now.
