Hey bud. You are in luck, there's a 1M model car for sale on bidorbuy currently from a trustworthy seller (I've purchased from him before with no issues). That is a good price too. Grab it while you can as it's a limited edition of 1500 worldwide.

Here's a link :

Thanks a lot, I already bought it! And the guy is also having a CSL in grey....
That's awesome! Double score:clapper:

I always wonder when i look at these posts of you guys taking photos of your model cars.

Where on earth do you find them?

I scout our local toy stores almost on a weekly basis and never find any BMW on the shelves.

CSL model for 3500 Rand if somebody is intersted...that price is madness...:withStu:

lol if you think that is madness I paid R5000 for an E28 M5. This is a man's hobby lol not for lil boys.

BTW I have a 1M in white with M stripes on the sides.

I imported most of my models from the USA, Germany and the UK via ebay. I hardly buy new models now as the exchange rate has gone crazy. The prices at the hobby shops for new models are crazy too :thumbdo:

It will be really difficult to find BMW M models locally. They sell for a lot as most of them aren't made anymore.

I have a few models too, but wondering what will happen to the prices once my son starts printing modes at home.

To bump the thread, I thought I should show my latest additions. Both are 1:18 scale, the E83 X3 3.0lt is a Kyosho and the E46 320i WTCC is a Auto Art Motorsport.

Minichamps make a pre-facelift 1:43 scale model but damned if I can find one in this country...

The shop also had this autoart 1:18 E30 M3 but I took the E46 instead.:hammerhead:

Lets be honest the 1/43 scale is not the same as 1/18 scale

I have M3 Gtr(Mini Champs) street in that scale it is just not the same.

Have you got the e46 vert pre facelift?

I agree, too much detail is lost when going from 1:18 to 1:43. But then again, Auto Art blows minichamps away when it comes to detail anyway.

I asked the model shop to put that E30 M3 for me one side, will collect it on Friday.

The only other E46 model I have is a UT Models 1:18 328i pre-facelift, you can see the nose of it in the pics I posted earlier.

I have agree with you, I a few e46 models in 1/18 think they are all Auto Art; GTR #42, M3 (comp pack), 320i touring and the 328i pre facelift vert

Yep, the Z8 is a bit stuffed. Got it like that. And it weighs at least 1kg. I think it may have a cast block
