Ok so i recently bought the professional radio thinking all of them comes with USB function and only requires the cable but they dont...i bought the one with aux only lol. So i found this gadget and tought ill try it as this will give me the usb and memory card function.

Plugs into your lighter and you set the radio to the station of the device. You can then mount the keypad somewhere to then skip tracks ect. This device has bluetooth calling as well which works through the car stereo.

The idea that you can use the lighter socket under the arm rest hiding it away but then still have controll because it has the controller which u can mount anywhere is perfect making it easy to skip songs.

Will update when it lands on how it works. Was cheap as chips which is why i bought it to try, in case reception is shitty or it doesnt work. Im not expecting miracles lol

I'm also looking at a solution for USB for my Professional radio. Keen to see how this works for you. I've got an Anycar unot whoch works really well, but not having any luck with the wiring harness for the unit.

They sell for around R80 - R140 but found this one buyer while browsing and it was free so yeah.

Dont like the ones that stick out the lighter socket like a second gear lever so with this one you can hide it away neatly atleast.

I absolutely farkin hate not being able to use USB in my car. I only found out last week I can actually play MP3's on dvd disc through my Satnav unit. But I was USB and want to use it with my steering controls damnit.

Yeah i also found that MP3 CDs work in mine, havent tried it yet but just the idea of having to re-wright cds all the time sucks.

Controlling the radio with the steering and having usb would be perfect but will see how this little control pad works. Perhaps even mounding it in the ashtray would be an idea cause i doubt ill ever use the bluetooth function.

Just a quick update, new tyre has been bought. Rim was buckled a bit but they managed to sort it out with balancing. Took a drive and its not vibrating at all but will take it to straighten if it is a problem.

Bought a contisport continental wich comes with free road hazard guarentee. I took pictures of the pothole and will be submitting a claim to JRA this week to try and recover some of the R1700 i had to fork out..

While the wheel was off i saw that the shocks i have are bilsteins? Are these the OEM shocks or did the previous guy upgrade them?
