Vanos oil pump had new smaller tab holes drilled into it on a CNC machine.

This to stop lash on the tabs and subsequent breakage....a rather eye watering expensive exercise but Chris would not do it any other way.

If that car ever comes up for sale at any price... it is a cheap car.

This the Beisan System hub, or just the original one drilled locally?

So would you like to impart some knowledge into the forum as to the hole sizing/chamfer?

Im not so sure that is a good idea... then it will be left to the engineer and the customer doing the work to do quality control...

we will be running a swap out system with a core charge though this way we can inspect the work and make sure no nonsense gets fitted...

And if the customer wants to take their own chances? I'm sure most would use a swop out as it's much quicker then removing, going to the shop, drilling and bringing back. No one wants to leave their car in pieces while waiting on parts.
But if you want to copy the Beisan Systems hub why can't you share your findings with the forum so as to enrich the forum.

Don't be that guy that torrents a file and never seeds back.

not the same thing... we did not copy the BS oil pump disk 1st we looked at what other options there were and how else we could solve this issue... the only feasible solution is to drill new holes so we took our own measurements and took it from there... if it were not for the shipping we would rather buy the BS disk...

It would not be honorable to bring in BS items and copy them if we offer our own solutions they will be developed by us not just copied...

Biesan Systems has put in alot to produce their solutions and we will not be stealing their work to increase profits and rather work with them to produce even more solutions in the future...

If we publish the hole specs anyone in the world can copy this and possibly even produce oil pump disks made of inferior materials and flood ebay with them...

If you want to drill your own measure the tabs on your car and decide from there...
