Congrats bud! I am really chuffed you bought the car in the end.

Got my CDV delete done yesterday at MMS auto.
Want to thank @johndoe and Nathan again, Top Guys with a top workshop :thumbs:

CDV delete is a must - makes 1-2 shifting easier and smoother feeling. How have you found it?

Definite improvement in changes between 1-2, more direct and smooth. don't know how I didn't have it done on my old 3.0

@"momo1" I still need to get the CDV delete done on the E46, and now the M3...  :fencelook:

I find gearshifts from 1-2 in the M3 noticeably slower and some of the reading I've done says that jerky shifts can be a result of the CDV.

this was my reason to get it done as well, that slight bogging if you get the press and release points slightly wrong really annoyed me

It’s Very noticeable difference. I really felt it when I drove PLVs Z4m which has the CDV in place and then I jump into my own car with the CDV removed.
