Thanks Guys
appreciate the kind words..

An update:
the oil leak has been sorted, it was the pressure valve seal, seems to be a common S54 issue with age.

I am doing some aesthetic mods, but will keep all original parts..

Things done
1) Stubby Aerial
2) Black Grills (I now don't feel guilty having the M Stripes)
3) OEM ZHP Gear knob (bummed its not illuminated but it feels so much better)

Things to be done soon
1) Major interior revamp :fencelook:

Who did the seats Mo?

Red certainly has a punch to it.
Very nice
They factory red Peter, I got them about 3 years back from a guy stripping an M coupe.
A company called LeatherPro did the reconditioning , they a bit pricey but did a decent job.

I would keep the black but nice to have the option.
Car is coming along nicely, the gearknob makes a nice difference.
Send pics of the front once the grilles are in.

Any other plans? H&Rs?

Hi Eust

personally I just find the black boring,
the car was recently fitted with New Bilstein shocks and H&R springs all round, as well as a new set of Michelin PS4 Tyres by the previous owner.

not sure what it drove like before but in comparison to my old 3.0Si this feels much more stiffer and firm, like new to be honest,  its composed and sure footed as well, but  the hydraulic steering could also pay a part...

So apart from the seats , I had spare trimmings I thought id play around with.
my plan 3 years back with the old Z was to get it done in Alcantara, but I was on a tighter budget then so I opted to just get it vinyl wrapped.
this time round I got it done properly..

Things done

- Dash Trimings in Alcantara with M stitching and M embossing
- Centre console and coin holder in alcantara with M embossing
- Door handles in alcantara
- Knee pads in alcantara

some before ,during and after pic
