When I first spotted the title, I knew it had to be a BMW.

JOHANNESBURG - A 31-year-old BMW driver has been arrested for clocking in at 241kmh in a 120kmh zone on the N4 highway in eastern Pretoria on Wednesday morning.

The motorist, who was driving a BMW 330i, was nabbed near the Bossemanskraal interchange.

He was apparently on his way to work at a Barloworld company in Middelburg in the early hours of the morning when the Gauteng Traffic Police’s High Speed Unit arrested him.

Getting caught at high speed is no joke... you can do that speed in a baseline car these days... not about having a top of the line BMW.

Be disciplined no matter what you drive... Your life & others depends on it.

My old E36 328i does 220 easily but is limited by gearing as it can do more.

So if we assume it's an e90 330i i'm sure it can do it easily. Probably limited to 250km/h
