Jezebel's Alpha N Supercharger tune

Had a nice little run with an AUDI RS3 last night. Was surprised by the outcome, but not sure how much I can really take from it. Tucked in behind the AUDI whilst driving, probably doing 60. I indicated to move to the side and overtake, and as soon as I did he floored it. I already anticipating this move, was instantaneously following suit and to my surprise, quickly jumped ahead. We kept flooring it for a short while before the Audi had to brake. I was ahead by a car.

Like I said, not sure how much I can take from this little run, as I have no idea if he was in the wrong gear or such, and it would have been nice to do a longer run... but that exhaust on the RS3 sounded mad. Also, the owner was a very nice chap. Had a chat at the next set of lights, he was very surprised by Jez. That being said, the road ahead was dark with many bends and we both agreed not to chance another run, he went his way and I, with a confused but silly grin, went mine. Cool guy. He probably would have decimated me if we had launched from a dead stop. This 3:91 diff and my SC make an interesting first gear. Lots of sideways action before actually getting grip.

Just met up with Sherwin from Xcede. Got the Vortech 2.82" pulley from him. This should bring up the boost by 3-4 psi and we should start seeing some boost. Thanks Sherwin for helping me out. Lekker guy!!!

I also have a 2.62" pulley that Burg organized. So after some tests with this 2,82" pulley, and when my intercooler/water meth solution is in and when we are confident that intake temps are cool enough, we'll move on up the the 2,62".

Will do a base dyno with the 3.35" to see what we have on the wheels with the 0-1psi and Base tune File. I don't expect anything crazy. Maybe 205-210wkw. Let's see.

PS. We currently experience some belt slip with the 3.35" and the kak serpentine belt we have. Gonna get a better belt, possibly from Sherwin.

Thanks for the help.

Hey Buddy

I'm dying to see where she ends up and then to compare our two monsters. The meth on my sc M3 has made the car mad.... Still waiting for that race

I heard so... Burgy was telling me. I can't wait either... I'm almost there. Gonna do meth soon and we can compare. You running 7psi right? I only got 1psi right now. LOL. Massive fail. But we just put a smaller pulley wheel on. Should be getting 3-4psi for now. We can test with that so I can gauge my performance and see what steps I need to do to catch up to you.

Gonna be awesome.

Take the time and do it right bud, mine has been 2 years in the doing and we are now only at the end of the road, I must come hang out with you and buggy more because I never get anybody wanting to race me.....

As you said she is pulling strong now so we will see on the dyno day on the 9th where she is now, going to be interesting

Get your vanos done as well as valve clearances.......you might also want to look at changing injectors.....maybe when Chris's are ordered you can order yours as well?

Merely a suggestion........

You'll need to ask A1exander, he is the only guy I trust with the job. I had valve adjustment done at SavSpeed and 2 days later my car dropped a valve. They installed a shim that was too tight. Cost me a piston and a cylinder head.

A1exander (peter) takes his time to measure each shim correctly and replace accordingly.

My Vanos was kaput, so we replaced the entire unit and solenoid. My inlet cam was not advancing at all. No Oil was getting through to the vanos hub on that side.

I'll warn you now, it is not cheap. Depending on what needs to be done. I think I probably had one of if not the most severe repair when it came to my vanos.
